State of the River- Blue River

Water is our source of life. In the Western United States, it is heavily monitored, regulated, and desired by all. As we navigate drought conditions in 2022, we must accommodate with actions and adjustments to our water supply, infrastructure, and habitat.
The Blue River Watershed Group calls on you to become an educated participant in helping manage our local river. Presentations will give forecasts of how much water will be in rivers and reservoirs later this summer, how Summit County fits into forecasted shortages facing the larger Colorado River Basin, provided an update on Summit County reservoirs and trans-mountain diversions, and asks you to participate in Blue River planning efforts to assess and sustain this valuable resource and its associated ecosystem.
This is a FREE event and a light dinner will be provided.
